Novelty breeds contempt?
Observation:
The same dog that doesn't bat an eye at passing cars or even motorcycles will nearly decapitate itself with its chained leash when a person rides by on a bike.

i drove by a cyclist in Corbin the other day and wondered if it was you... without the snarling dogs it was a bit misleading ;)
